Completely clean OS installation (no added software)
No one appreciates a computer preloaded with trial software, advertisements,
and promotional offerings. Not only is it annoying, but it can
even slow down your computer! Some companies do this for the supplemental
income but we will never include any 3rd party trailware with
your Operating System.
When buying a custom desktop, you have the opportunity to design
a system that meets your needs for size, form factor (shape),
noise level, and visual appearance. From smaller computers that
fit into a bedroom or dorm room easily, larger ones with sound-proofing
to windowed cases for showing off your hardware and adding lights.
Everything from the normal everyday case to the "Not of This
World" gamer case, picking the right case is as individual
as you are.
There are several major factors that contribute to the quality
of your PC, and you’ll want to consider each carefully.
The first thing to think about when you’re planning to buy
a custom built computer is the type of processor that the machine
features. Intel and AMD both make a varity of CPU's. You always
want a faster processor, no matter how you’ll be using the
computer but with the hundreds of different speeds and configurations
that decision can be daunting. We can help you pick the processor
that's just right for your specific needs both current and future
use.
Next to consider is the speed and amount of memory (RAM) to install
since most motherboard will support different modules. We suggest
several top manufacturers for what ends up in our custom built
machines such as Corsair, Crucial or Kingston modules and will
make sure you have enough memory to keep your computer running
at it's peak performance.
Finally the last important factor is Hard Drive and Video. Since
size really does matter you need to consider what you will be
storing on your drive to determine how large you need to go. Pictures,
music and movies can take up a enormous amount of disk space so
you'll need to choose accordingly.
Some motherboards will have built in Video but those are usually
low on memory and wont support many of today's games or high graphics
use software. If video games are not your cup of tea then onboard
video should work just fine for you without the added cost of
additional video cards.
